Austin Smiles Medical Mission Trip to Veracruz, Mexico - September 2007

Dr. Ethridge had the unique opportunity to travel to Veracruz, Mexico in September of 2007. He traveled with Austin Smiles which is an organization based in Austin, Texas. The group was founded in 1987 and has since performed over 3500 reconstructive procedures, mainly cleft lip and cleft palate repairs. He was fortunate to travel with Dr. Steven Blackwell who is one of his mentors from UTMB.
